Polls just released (CNN, WSJ) show that Congress has its lowest approval rating (14%) since data has been collected. With the vast majority of Americans disapproving of the job our elected officials are doing, I believe we need to take a critical look at our own representatives and plan to vote them out of office.
Vote every incumbant out in every Congressional and Senatorial district, in every state. This will mean that you may have to vote for a candidate from a party other than the one you claim. I would suggest that we vote for Independents or candidates from parties other than the Democrats and Republicans.
One definition of insanity is: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
I believe we, the American voters, have been practicing insanity. We continue to vote for people in the same two parties over and over while expecting things to be different. They're not. They haven't been different for decades, if not longer. They never will be different as long as these two parties keep getting re-elected and keep their power and influence.
Will you vote for your Congressman? Will you vote for your Senator?
Or will you vote for real change?
